Alarm Monitoring

Most people ignore the sound of car and house alarms. With Bay Safety’s alarm monitoring service, an emergency at your home or business is never ignored. Once you have armed your alarm system, our monitoring station is notified if your alarm system is activated for any reason. In the event of alarm activation, response professionals will attempt to contact you, verify the alarm is a true emergency, and request emergency personnel response if needed. Your alarm system and monitoring service comes with 24-hour monitored panic buttons which can be pushed anytime day or night, no matter if your security system is armed or not.

The availability of around the clock alarm monitoring for your security system is one of the best ways to protect your business, home and family from a burglary, fire, or other dangerous health condition such as carbon monoxide.

Some of the Benefits of Alarm Monitoring:

  • Peace of mind knowing that your business, home, family and property – what matters most to you – is protected 24 hours a day, 7days a week, 365 days a year.
  • It has been shown that with central station monitoring the chances of you being burglarized are greatly reduced.
  • Arming your home security system when you leave your business or home will greatly reduce the chance of their being someone in your home waiting when you return.
  • Did you know that having a monitored security system could save you up to 20% of your homeowner’s insurance premium? Insurance companies know that by having a monitored security system, your home is 3 to 4 times less likely to be burglarized. Homeowner’s insurance discounts can vary depending on the level of protection you have chosen for your security system as well as the area in which you live. But whatever money you save helps to offset the monthly monitoring fee of your security system and makes owning a security system more affordable.

REMEMBER! Alarm monitoring only works if you use it. Be sure to turn on your security system every time you leave the home and at night when you go to bed.

Bay Safety alarm systems can come standard with pet-friendly motion detectors. What if my home alarm system loses power because of a power failure?

Every home alarm system from Bay Safety comes with a backup battery installed. During power outages the alarm system will automatically switch to the backup battery and will keep your alarm system powered for up to 24 hours, depending on how much you use the system during this time. After the main power of your home comes back on, the alarm system will begin recharging the backup battery until it is at full power again. During this time the alarm system will report that the battery is low until fully charged. Please note that the back-up battery could need to be replaced every 1-3 years, depending on the amount of usage.
